This is me doing some silly writing/cursive. Cursive is so hard for me now. It feels too deliberate and looks childish since I haven't practiced writing anything but my own name in cursive in years.
Also, I just saw the most hideous invitation font ever. **shudders** truly horrible.

Doctors are Okay I Guess

Went to see mine today and was feeling less than great about it. I always feel like I should be able to heal myself, but I think that is asking a bit much of myself.
My doctor is great so now I'm afraid she'll go somewhere else and I'll have to pick someone else out of the giant "provider handbook"
I've recorded some ideas on my new mp3 player that M gave me. One of them is that the main character in my novel/graphic novel keeps getting these terrible headaches and at some point they'll find this giant Prozac tumor in her brain. Like a ball of all of the unprocessed meds her body balled up and is keeping in her brain like so many nuts squirrelled away in a tree.
I can't decide it she'll have it out or not.
If she does get it removed, it'll be in a back-door manner, like at midnite from a neuro-surgeon she holds at gunpoint.
Now that's my kinda doctorin'!

The Cartoon Art Museum's Saturday Afternoon Cartooning Classes for kids
will continue once a month throughout the fall and winter. Our next
classes are scheduled for October 22nd and November 19th from 1pm-3pm,
and will be taught by local cartoonist and animator Brian Kolm.


The attendance fee for each student is $5, which covers the student's
admission to the Cartoon Art Museum and the cost of art supplies.
Students will learn a wide variety of skills throughout these classes,
from character design to storyboarding to creating their own
mini-comics. These classes are recommended for students from 6-14 years
old. Classes are filled first-come first served, advance reservations
are recommended, contact ext. 314 or galllery@cartoonart.org

Museum's latest exhibition, Gross, Gruesome and Gothic. Enjoy gourmet

I'm freaking about open studios this weekend. I feel like my fellow artists hate me, but I know that is stupid. I hate low self esteem...
Anyways, I've been doing some great stuff and now have to get that onto paper which is I guess the process of doing art. Making things speak for you or of you at least. I wasn't good at expressing myself through music.

I've seen the coverage and what sticks with me most are the words being spoken by some very elite people.

• Barbara Bush is saying how nice it is for the poor people to be evacuated from their homes as they are being treated so nicely now in the 'Domes. ASSHOLE!!!
• The FEMA director Brown, was saying how the victims needed to take responsibility for themselves now--a classic blame the victim game.
• Dennis Hastert says we should just bulldoze all of New Orleans.
• Even now Bush Jr. is relying on his PARENTS to help him out. I hear a lot of things that basically sound like this, "Don't talk bad about my son." You know, it really puts my mind at ease to know that the POTUS still isn't off of his mother's teat--and I bet she doesn't even support public breastfeeding initiatives.

Hey poor people in LA, Eat the Rich!!! They are very fatty and tasty.
